St. Nicholas Cathedral was dedicated as the National War Memorial Shrine of the Orthodox Church in America in 1963. This page is dedicated to preserving the memory of veterans of the armed forces of the United States from Orthodox parishes throughout the country. To have your veteran included, please email the following information, in the order shown, to email@example.com:

Each year, on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, prayers are offered for the souls of Orthodox Christians who have died while on active duty in the service of their country, as their names are read aloud during the Divine Liturgy. St. Nicholas Cathedral invites parishes across the country to submit additional names to be added to the list viewable at the link below.
